Project Summary
The Lake Forest City Council awarded a $35.9 million contract to Parkwest Landscape Construction to bring the new 86-acre park to life. Parkwest Landscape selected Eide Industries, Inc. for the structural design, fabrication and installation of seventeen (17) various Tensioned Fabric Structures, Site Shelters and Canopy Systems for the largest sports park in Orange County, California. Eide successfully completed the fabrication and installation of all seventeen (17) canopy systems throughout the Lake Forest Sports Park ahead of schedule and within budget.

ONE (1) NORTH TOT LOT SHADE STRUCTURES
- Hexagon Shaped Canopy approximately 81’8” x 81’6”
- Approximate shaded area = 4,715 SF
- Catenary curvature of perimeter cables will be 3’ typical
FIVE (5) SOUTH TOT LOT SHADE STRUCTURES
- Total shade coverage area is 2,298 SF
- Triangular shapes with the following approximate dimensions
- Sail A – 54’4” x 43’8” x 55’10” with shade area of 616 SF
- Sail B – 55’10” x 53’4” x 56’ with shade area of 711 SF
- Sail C – 36’3” x 33’7” x 44’1” with shade area of 324 SF
- Sail D – 44’1” x 31’2” x 40’5” with shade area of 323 SF
- Sail E – 40’5” x 36’10” x 31’11” with shade area of 324 SF

- Each approximate shaded area = 1,980 SF
