The Government of Aruba commissioned a multi-million main street and pavilion renovation project for Oranjestad to increase cruise line tourism to the island.

Eide Industries, Inc. completed the fabrication and international delivery of eighteen (18) custom tensioned canopies to Oranjestad, the capital city of Aruba.  The red fabric structures were designed to resemble the native wind-blown Divi Divi Trees to add flare to the colorful walking boulevards of the new shopping district.

Delivering these structures also required Eide to design and fabricate special racks within the shipping container for proper packaging and transportation to minimize damages to the engineered frames and covers.  Eide then coordinated efforts with customs agencies and international shipping companies to export the structures to Aruba.

Eide Industries, Inc. was able to meet the Government of Aruba’s budget and delivery of the products successfully to uphold their commitment to renovation, safety and their slogan “Bon Trabou, ainda falta” (Good Work, There’s more to do.).
